Aug. 19th, 2009 09:23 pm Well, my sister is leaving for Canada tomorrow morning at 4:30 a.m. and I won't be seeing her for three months. I don't think I realize it quite yet. She may be fifteen but she's still the baby in family (probably only in my eyes). This is so weird!
Work in the hospital is okay, but not the most fascinating, because there is a lot of paperwork and making appointments for patients. Oh, well, as a doctor, I'll also have a lot of administrative stuff to do. The annoying thing is that sometimes I don't even have time to go see patients (as an "externe", we only work in the morning), and that's pretty frustrating. But I got to see a heart ultrasound today, and that's always interesting!
Oh, and the background is a Monet painting, representing haystacks, because apparently my last name is some weird Swiss-german way of saying "little haystack". In any case, it's a really neat painting.
